NATURAL REED DRINKING STRAWS

Because of the challenges our mother-Earth is facing nowadays due to plastics and their byproducts, we decided to join the eco-movement and create a product that would make a great alternative to the polluting plastic straws. In this context, through our 100% subsidiary company in Ukraine, we have started a side production of high-quality biodegradable natural reed drinking straws. 

We use neither chemicals, nor additives while producing straws. Our process uses only mechanical cleaning both inside and outside as well as heat treatment while carefully following our high quality control standards. Although each straw is not completely identical, they are simiilar in appearance. Our straws vary slightly and are each unique since they are made from 100% natural reed plants. 

Created by nature, consisting mostly of cellulose our reed straws are unique, 100% natural, biodegradable - compostable at home and municipal facilities, sterilised, gluten-free, chemical free, non-toxic, non-GMO, food safe and environmentally friendly. Functionally and by feel they are very similar to the plastic straws we’ve all become so accustomed to, but without the chemicals and the damaging impact on our planet. Unlike metal or paper straws, reed straws require much less energy to be produced. GO STRAW™ drinking straws are certified according to the requirements set up in European Parliament and the Council of the European Union REGULATION (EC) No 1935/2004 and COMMISSION REGULATION (EU) No 10/2011. 

GO STRAW™  natural reed drinking straws are not going to become soft and soggy making contact with liquid and they don’t affect the taste and smell of any drink. Moreover, they are heat resistant (from -20 to +90 C) that’s why they can be used for both hot and cold beverages.  Wide straw opening provides added convenience to use it with any beverage, cold or hot, perfect with thick drinks such as smoothies and freshly squeezed juices. 

GO STRAW™ natural reed drinking straws should be stored in  a dry place at room temperature with no direct sunlight. The straws are not suitable for children under the age of three years old. In addition, these straws are not for use in a microwave oven and have a shelf life of twelve months. Our drinking straws are available in packages of 25, 100, 200, 400 and 1000 pieces. Our smaller packages of 25 and 100 are ideal for home and office use, while larger packages are perfect for cafes, restaurants and hotels. Upon request, we offer a 30 piece sample set.
