Yes, Go Straw drinking straws are made from water reed and are non-toxic, chemical-free, biodegradable and 100% natural. They are compostable at home and municipal facilities. 

In addition, we feel the packaging we choose for our straws are also made from an ecological material. Therefore, the boxes we use for our packaging are made from recycled cardboard. 

Our reed straws look alike, but they are not identical. They might have a slight difference externally because of natural design.

All our straws go through a mechanical inside and outside cleaning process. While washing, cleaning and drying the straws we use only eco-friendly stuff and materials. Afterwards they all pass thermal treatment that sterilize them. In the end all our straws go through a safety food certification process. 

Yes, our reed drinking straws can be reusable. It is important that the straws are cleaned thoroughly and dried after each use. We recommend hand washing the straws. When washing and drying the straws, keep the straw vertical in order to allow the water to drain. 

Go Straw drinking straw can be used either as a single-use straw or as a reusable one. This is left for each business to decide how their customers would prefer to use the straw. Many customers who are conscious of environmental issues, might understand and prefer to reuse their straw in their next drink. While others might prefer a new straw with each drink.
